Repair, maintain and adjust Ventana/Roche instruments used for the automation of slides in hospital, clinical and medical research labs. Disassembles malfunctioning instruments and examines and tests mechanisms and circuitry for defects. Checking electrical wiring, using a volt meter, reading schematics and testing and/or repairing defective components were practiced in a significant way to make certain the equipment was up and running in a timely manner. Preventative maintenance was also performed at preset intervals. Tracking truck stock and logging vehicle miles was also performed on a daily and monthly basis.
