I started as a bagger, got promoted to cashier 6 months later, then branched out to any outlet that could use an extra hand. Front end: Bagger, cashier, returns, facing the aisles, and during the stores opening, helping people find their way around the store. Bakery: slicing and bagging bread, setting up the displays using F.I.F.O., making and bagging tortillas

Seafood: helping customers with items from the case, running the seasonal crawfish event in the front, helping the department close correctly. Gas Station: working the register

Extras: helping with the seasonal events giving/selling food, and volunteering at an orphanage event, occasionally help with training new hires. Food & Beverage, The Post Oak Hotel — Feb 2019 - Jan 2022 I started as a pool attendant and stayed under the wing of the assistant manager of food and beverage who helped me gain experience in each outlet learning as much as I could about the food industry, fine dining, and giving a five star experience.

The second half of my time there I acted as an unofficial supervisor (with permission as such) and could walk from each outlet making sure things ran smoothly if the outlet i as scheduled in didn’t need me.
