Aug 2010-Dec 2011: (Active Duty Army mobilization, Operation Iraq Freedom/Operation New Dawn) Colonel/GS 15 equivalent. Chief of Staff to the USF-I J3 Joint Operations Directorate and Director of Personnel Recovery, Baghdad, Iraq. 80 hours per week

-Coordinate daily operations for a 500 person directorate, including military, government and civilian contractors into 2 sub-directorates and 15 staff divisions.

-Developed, transmits and monitors USF-I Command Group and J3 Directorate tasking and staff actions.

-Served as Operations Transition Working Group and NSDD-38 process Chair. Duties included all draw down of forces, facilities and equipment out of Iraq and end of Operations New Dawn. Working group included experts from aviation, radars, force protection, personnel recovery, biometrics and numerous others across USF-I. As director, hand off of DOD functions to DOS were 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

-Ensured timeliness of staff products, briefings and correspondence up to the 4 Star level.

-Briefed Secretary of the Army on Military draw down of forces in Iraq

Jun 2005-Oct 2014: Recruiting/Training Operations officer, Weber State University. 50 hours a week.

-Oversaw all aspects of recruiting the future Officers to meet the US Army mission.

-Planned, executed and oversaw all recruiting operations for Weber State and Utah State Universities.

-Met contract and commission mission each year.

-Managed the recruiting section to insure maximum results were achieved.

-Oversee all aspects of recruiting, training and coordination of all training for cadets and key leadership positions at Weber State.

-Managed weekly key training labs on all tactical and leadership dimensions.

-Lead planner for a 200 cadet, 4 University Field training exercise.

-Planned and coordinated WSU Wounded Warrior 8K run.

-Coached Ranger Challenge each year as an additional duty.

Jun 2006-Aug 2010: United States Army Reserves. Chief of Staff to 328th Combat Support Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah. 20 hours per week.

-Managed all aspects of a 800 soldier unit in 2 hospitals covering 3 states (Utah, Colorado, California)

-Reviewed and vetted all incoming personnel.

-Oversaw budget to insure training was conducted in a safe and fiscally responsible manner.

-Instituted new BN management seminar to improve all planning for training requirements

-Reviewed all training schedules and risk assessments to insure maximum training effect and safety

-Military awards to include; BSM, MSM (5), JCSM, ARCOM (3), AAM (6), Special Forces Qualification, Airborne, Jump Master, Senior Master Parachutist, Royal Thai Marine Parachute badge, Canadian Parachute badge, German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge, Public affairs spokesman, 2 X Olympic trial Biathlon qualifier 1988, 1992, US military ski team 1986-1996, 2002 Winter Olympic Biathlon Director of course.
