I came across your post on Glassdoor, for your client's Financial Controller opportunity in the Beauty Industry. I was the Corporate Controller at Ubiquiti Inc., coming off a long career at Conair, including Senior Director of Operations and Senior Financial Controller. At Conair, I partnered with the General Managers to run the Professional businesses which included divisional P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, promotions, etc. Also negotiated with customers, vendors, third-party manufacturers, FedEx, hotels, restaurants, etc.

After the Professional Division’s divestiture of Rusk, Aquage, and ONO, in which I was the main financial lead, I had the opportunity to move into the Senior Director of Sales and operations role. A role that allowed me to directly relate with Operations, Customers, Order Entry, Credit, Warehousing, and Distribution. My leadership, hands-on, and genuine team approach allowed me to build valuable relationships that promote a team-oriented win-win environment working with all departments.

I have strong Beauty Industry experience from the appliance and liquids side of the business. At Conair, I worked in the Professional Group and was involved in various Beauty Shows including NYC’s Fashion Week plus worked closely with Italian Hair Color vendors. I also attended and participated in the two largest Beauty Shows in the world, Cosmoprof in Bologna and Las Vegas.
