McDonalds 07/2021 - 04/2022

Hours per week: 30

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

While being a food handler I performed multiple duties throughout the area that required knowledge of service operations, such as food preparation, dishwashing, storage of dry and refrigerated food, safety and sanitation, computer/scanner utilization, and other operations as needed. I set up lines ensuring correct supplies and materials were available at each station, such as boxes, utensils, and food items. I prepared and filled customer orders by preparing each item and placing them in appropriate containers. Labeled and marked containers when it was a special order for the customer to know. Created labels using computerized equipment to mark packages with date “use by” and made final checks of items in the refrigerators to ensure first in-first out was used in accordance with regulations and replaced expired items. Scanned boxes after trucks were unloaded to keep track of inventory as items were being placed in appropriate storage. I kept duty stations clean by removing trash, removing boxes that had been broke down when emptied, and sanitizing tables, floors, and all equipment during shifts. I provided assistance to other areas such as cashiers or drive thru windows as needed to complete orders in a timely manner. I determined the appropriate storage spaces/areas for different items that was received in, such as chemicals for cleaning, cups, condiments, or frozen food following safety requirements and procedures that apply to handling any hazardous material taking in consideration of labeling, storing or while being used to clean.
