Hostess
Del Friscos// Landrys
During my time here, I got to experience behind-the-scenes action of true fine dining. From meeting people around the world to being able to witness life's beautiful arrangements from weddings to baby showers. I hosted for this time, I am eager to learn how to serve and bartend!
2020-2022
Hello! My name is Janna and recently moved from Tampa, FL to NYC. Growing up, I always wanted to experience life up north. I must say in my year of being here, there is definitely a wide spectrum of groups. I definitely love to learn about a variety of cultures and connect with different people around the world. Bartending is a field that can open many doors, I am really excited to see where this takes me! This is a universal skill that can be taken anywhere and I would love to share it during any and all life’s precious moments.

Shift Manager
Sizzling Platter. 2018-2022
My first job I began in high school as a cashier, as soon as I graduated, I became a shift lead manager for the night team. Throughout my time working for the company, I learned about the benefits of leading your crew properly to act as a team to ensure a successful and productive shift. As a cashier, I quickly learned how to remain calm and difficult situations and not become easily flustered during uncertainty.
Host/Kitchen Deli Counter
Royal Crown Bakery/Cucina (Current Job)
At my current place of work, I partially host and work in the kitchen. For the morning shifts, I will help prep food for the day and stock. Stocking is something that definitely has to be done throughout the shift. When I work in the kitchen, I have to ensure that there is fluid communication between me and my coworkers because things can easily get conflicted if not. Teamwork is the key to a successful shift.
