High School Maintenance Welder

I am currently enrolled with Lansing Community College and working on finishing my associate degree in Welding Technology. I currently graduated from Charlotte High School in 2023, where I completed two years of Welding Technology through Eaton RESA (Early College) at Lansing Community College. The college courses have given me practical experience of a welder.

Through jobs with The Shyft Group and Precision Prototype, I have performed MIG, TIG and stick welding on manufacturing parts and fixtures for the manufacturing line use, along with various maintenance or repairs to production tools and buildings. While working for Feighner Boat Lift and Docks, I welded on boat aluminum docks and machined various parts to build the docks. Multiple welding projects completed through 4H at the Lansing’s Pipefitters over eight years has taught and given me an enormous amount of knowledge with different types of welding too.

I am very interested in being able to apply some of my knowledge and experience with your company. I have a strong academic background and excellent problem-solving ability, along with good verbal, written and communication skills.
