Senior Video Engineer (Tier 4) – Video Dev/Ops Engineering 1/15 – 12/2019

CenturyLink –based in Littleton, CO

Responsible for the following Regions: CO, Littleton; AZ, Tempe; UT, SLC; NV, Las Vegas; OR, Portland; WA, Seattle. I provide onsite engineering support as needed to the following locations: LA, Monroe; MO, Columbia; NE, Omaha; FL, Winter park.

Responsible for a complete understanding of provisioning, clean and screen, troubleshooting and testing of Customer Premised Equipment (CPE) used in the CenturyLink network.

CenturyLink contracted thru APEX-based in Denver, CO

Provide installation test and turn up of all new equipment being deployed in lab including engineering, electrical and physical layout.

Work with engineers, architects, operation and vendors to certify and test new equipment not yet set out for deployment for the field.

Test and troubleshoot STB’s, RG’s various switches (Juniper, Cisco, Avocent, ALU) that are part of the Soak Farm for connectivity issues.

Install servers for Windows media attached to ALU Routers
