Shop Technician April 2019 - July 2023

H&V Equipment San Antonio, Texas

H&V Equipment really started it all for me and we were a Doosan dealer and I had lots of experience with this company. The experience I picked up with Doosan Equipment was hydraulic knowledge and depending on the failure I would have to plug into certain ports and figure out different pressures whether it's the Boom the arm or the bucket or the swing motor Etc I would have to diagnose the failure and being around this I've really learned a lot on mini excavators by improper pilot pressures or main system relief pressures and my experience was well taught in this area. I'm very well experienced in engine failure diagnosis and Doosan has certain types of engines whether it's a tier 3 or a tier 4 being around these engines I've learned a lot on DEF and DPF systems and the experience I learned really made me what I know today. Other experience I picked up from this company was preventative maintenance which involves scheduled oil changes and scheduled calibrations after oil changes on certain machines. These machines had various sizes and I picked up experience on bucket sizes that would fit on certain machines different attachments whether it's a thumb on a excavator or a hydraulic hammer and I would have to set flow rate and hydraulic pressure depending on the size of the machine and the attachment. My experience with this company made me well versed and all parts of heavy equipment Shop Technician June 2018 - April 2019

Agro Equipment Uvalde, Texas

The work experience I picked up with this company was very light engine repair and I learned a lot about the different functions and attachments on New Holland equipment. I was very new to farm equipment but the experience I picked up from this company taught me a lot about New Holland tractors I was versed in hydraulic schematics, engines schematics, electrical schematics, and I was taught how to plug into the machines and retrieve trouble codes. EDUCATION

Diploma July 2001

Medina Valley High School, Castroville, TEXAS

Certification February 2018

South Texas Vo-Tech, San Antonio, Texas

School was a diesel truck program and they taught us everything about the entire vehicle. They taught us drivetrain, transmission, engine repair, AC repair, electrical repair and they taught us various types of electrical repairs and they will put bugs in the truck and we'd have to figure out certain problems by diagnosing troubleshooting the cause and it could be a bad starter or a bad relay to the starter or a non-functioning alternator or just something simple like a burnt light bulb. The school is great and I was one of few who graduated from the the program and out of 36 students only eight graduated and before I graduated companies were looking at me and that's how I got in to this field.
