2014 – Present Complete Building Services
Building Engineer, Chief Building Engineer, and Field Supervisor
Field Supervisor - Currently oversees O&M support provided to 40 CBS customer buildings throughout the Baltimore-Washington area, including the UMBC Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) on Baltimore’s inner harbor. Also the APHA Building in DC that has the State Department Employees as tenants.
Chief Building Engineer at UMBC IMET – Conducted building inspection tours and performed and supervised work performed on a wide range of HVAC Mechanical equipment and systems, including (3) 500 HP York Screw Chillers with an ICE System, (4) Cooling Towers. High pressure steam supplied to reducing stations, Glycol systems, motors, pumps, air handling units, reverse osmosis systems, Phoenix Valves in negative pressure laboratories, and the Staefa II Energy Management System (EMS). Converted Phase Cut Controls to DDC, changes hundreds of hot water valves, actuators, PM steam traps, pipes, and coils, and multiple control panels. This building is a critical system due to the life of the animals.
2014 Keswick Multi-Care, Baltimore, MD
Building Engineer
Conducted building inspection tours and performed and supervised work performed on 2 Cleaver-Brooks low pressure 250hp water boilers and 2 Cleaver-Brooks high pressure 60hp steam boilers, emergency power generators, pumps, motors, air handling units, supply and exhaust fans; and Honeywell Comfort Link EMS. Conducted emergency generator load tests and weekly engine runs, repaired industrial-sized steam clothes washers and dryers, inspected and changed steam traps, changed filters on AHUs, cleaned coils; performed Preventive Maintenance on and repaired package heat pumps, and pneumatic systems and fan coil units in patient rooms.
2011 – 2013 Maryland Department of Corrections, Hagerstown, MD
Stationary Engineer/ Corrections Officer
Operated, maintained, and repaired HVAC Mechanical systems and equipment in the Boiler House, including 3 oil fire boilers (1000hp, 740hp, and 500 HP); ran emergency generator load test runs, cleaned boilers for annual inspection, re-packed pumps. Supervised 3 inmate helpers per shift. Perform water chemistry tests on boilers and add chemicals as needed.

Inspected and repaired rooftop operated Frick Ammonia compressors (2 - 500 ton, 2 - 300 ton, and 1 - 250 ton). 4 cooling towers; monitored EMS and responded to alarms; cleaned HVAC equipment and systems, changed belts, and performed scheduled PM tasks per manufacturer’s recommendations. Work on dock lifts electrically operation.
