Professional Highlights
Since completing my Pediatric Residency in 1979, I have worked as a Practitioner, Medical Director, and Site manager for an out-reach clinic of Baltimore City Health Department and Provident Hospital. Since 2001, I have worked as a Medical-Legal Expert as an advocate for children who have been exposed to and ingested Pb-based paint. I have also been tasked with identifying and documenting any injuries sustained as a result of these exposures. My evaluations involved an abbreviated physical examination, detailed interviews with the client/patient and their primary contemporaneous and current caregiver(s) in order to obtain as comprehensive medical history as possible. This review also involved a detailed and comprehensive review of all available medical records, environmental records, reports and evaluations of other plaintiffs and defense experts, school records, and all available depositions. I have given deposition testimony in hundreds of cases and have also given trial testimony as a designated and accepted expert witness in the areas of Pediatrics and Pb-paint. To-date there have been no limitations or exclusion in these areas by any court I have testified in.
