To obtain a bartender position at an upscale food and beverage establishment in a fast-paced busy environment where I can use my interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task. Having an impact on the viability of a business and helping to achieve greater revenue and net return while enjoying myself is the driving force behind my performance.

EXPERIENCE

FEB 2020 – MAR 2020

BARTENDER, hilton garden inn, orange beach, al

Opened the bar each day, ensured adequate stock was present, pulling and recording any new inventory, interacted with 12 customers at the bar and waited 6 tables while taking and delivering room service orders. Cleaned, broke down and removed all liquor to stockroom, balanced cash drawer and turned in all cash, credit card receipts and locked up the cash drawer. Closed to open. Job ended when Covid struck.

2005 – 2017

OWNER/GENERAL MANAGER, concierge worldwide, birmingham, al

With a small monetary investment, I set up this concierge service company and within 3 months had secured a major contract with Trinity Medical Center, a major hospital in the Triad Hospital Group.

In one year had secured another major contract with Lincoln Harbor Overlook, an upscale 170-acre new development on Lake Logan Martin.

Segued from traditional concierge services to include property management, arranging contractually to manage properties in the $250K-$500K price range.

Executed contracts with several major companies in the area including, Honda of North America, NASCAR, Talladega International Speedway, Miller-Coors, and WKW-Erbsloeh, a major German subcontractor for Mercedes Benz.

Sold the company and immediately purchased franchise rights for a business consulting company in eastern Europe with offices to be in Odessa, Ukraine.

2002-2004

TERRITORY SALES MANAGER, SCHOOL SPECIALTY, MANSFIELD, OH

Brought myself and the company into the awareness involvement of the entire educational system in central Alabama. Secured contracts with many school systems for supplying anything from basic teacher’s classroom supplies to furniture, fixtures and equipment for large school districts, while becoming involved in several state-level Education Department programs including one of which I am most proud, sponsoring a state-level art exhibition/contest for the entire state public school system. Expanded company awareness by approximately 100% and sales by roughly 75%.
