● Received hands-on training in biomedical, translational, and clinical research through a 10-week program.

● Conducted research into critical oncology, focusing on chemotherapy induced neuropathy, completing 75 hours of clinical observation and analyzed data utilizing gel electrophoresis, DNA imaging, and dissection of cancerous rodents. Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) Houston, TX Intern June 2019 – July 2019

● Garnered experience in biological sciences through rigorous clinical simulations and academic enrichment in the field of study.

● Assisted students who exhibited signs of mental fatigue, overexertion, as well as depression.

● Delegated tasks for general body members to engage in youth development and mentorship for adolescent men, promoted higher education and the importance of carrying on the legacy of the pioneering black male leaders and achievers.
