RF Analysis Engineer May 2013- Current

Performed daily 5G site activations (node). RET migration from 4G to 5G sites.

8CC millimeter wave. 5G site configuration, commissioning and integration support.

Validating CIQ. Generating Script Configuration file for 4G & 5G NR integration/ execution and LKFs.

Configuration and troubleshooting as per RET CIQ Baseband upgrade/conversion and carrier adds. Backups and troubleshooting on AT&T's Ericsson Network. OSS/ ENM.

Opened trouble tickets on Remedy EIM system.

Created MIC reports and used S.M.A.R.T. IWOS circuit ID system. As well at RND-CIQ.

Troubleshooting Network and transport issues.

Ericsson RAN and LDO Organizations - Plano & Richardson TX

Lead RAN Implementation Engineer Ericsson RAN and LDO Organizations Jan. 2005 -- 2015

. Manages implementation and compliance for the CSB (Common Scheduling Board) process during MW activities. One of only two 1st level CSB approvers for all RAN and LDO maintenance window activities nationwide for the AT&T 3G network. Scans, logs and approves scheduled activities based on compatibility, priority and mediated coordination. Activities included but not limited to: node b re-homes, IuCS/ IuPS /IuR and Iub over IP migrations/ SGSN pooling / new feature activation and rollouts/Node b 1st thru 4th carrier integrations including Smart Laptop Support/ NDS Utran pre and post launch activities (call, drive, and node testing) / troubleshooting support for all.

Supervises Engineering and Operations and LDO project execution performed during the maintenance window. Acting SPOC for all escalations related to the activities performed by the various groups. Escalations issues include alarm related, hardware and software related, network including OSS and transport (ATM and IP) related.

Maintains accurate resource assignments for RAN/LDO projects (NPI, MI, FOA, FFI, Rollout) being executed by Ericsson.

Monitors all group activities and suggests corrective measures to management teams for timely execution of the projects, in the most efficient and effective manner.

Ensures compliance for out of scope activities in the form of change order forms (COF)

Provides performance (Timeliness, Accuracy, and efficiency) analysis for RAN/LDO projects and feedback to team managers.

Reviews and feedback of methods, tools and processes to ensure continuous compliance and improvements.

Assesses market trends and developments and proactively prepares to align the group strategy to meet present and future needs

CELLULAR ONE – BellSouth - Indianapolis, IN

BSS Engineering Support to AT&T and Voicestream Wireless. Jan. 1998 – Jan 2005

Voicestream Wireless. BSS support for GSM network comprised of Ericsson, Nortel and Siemens hardware.

Software builds for new and expansion sites. Enhanced feature verification included SMS, Voicemail, and WAP applications.

AT&T Wireless. Switch Support for Ericsson TDMA wireless network. Interface between Ericsson and AT&T Wireless. Managed 30 switch engineers in California AT&T market. Work scope included acceptance verification of software for network expansion, channel add/delete projects and network frequency retunes. Initiated and resolved trouble ticket issues through site investigations.

Sustained on-site training in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting for an Ericsson CMS 40 GSM Network. Isolated network problems to hardware and software levels.

Switch support for the AXE-10 switching system.

Duties included but not limited to site integration, expansion, and troubleshooting. BSC, MSC and Titan 5500 DAX system backup, dump and lifeline procedure implementation. Trouble ticket analysis and problem resolution. Installed ACA’s, ECA’s & CNA's.

Network maintenance by accepting and provisioning for growth T-1, T-3, OC-12 and OC-48 circuits.

Test equipment included T-Berd analyzers, Titan 5500 series and Alcatel DAX units. Provided for continuous

trunk and signaling (SS7) connectivity between 4 Telecom carriers and GSM network.

Add/Expand IuB links for existing Alcatel/Lucent Node B equipment in the 3G network.

Perform specific job tasks including:

Create, Prepare, Validate & Execute scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B &

MSN(Aggregator) &/or make changes via GUI interface.

Complete Pre & Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc.

Create/Prepare/Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports

Troubleshoot & Operate all 3G Network Systems/Components.

Demonstrates high proficiency - and is able to assist others in resolving complex &/or

chronic problems in the 3G Network.

Act in a leadership role to provide guidance & support to other team members, internal

customers & other operations groups (i.e. MSC, RNOC & ATS).

Perform all responsibilities without assistance & with minimal or no supervision.
