EXPERIENCE

Telecommunications technician at Drew University

Madison - NJ

May 2001 - Apr 2019

helped support the phone system PBX for the entire

campus. This support of the phone system including:

- Running cross connect on 66 blocks, 110 Blocks, Krone,

and T1 connections

- Configuring phone lines from IntecomS80 phone system

- Move, Ad, & Changes to phone lines for students and

faculty/staff

- Installing new Cat6 cabling

- Troubleshooting phone data lines, and fire alarm lines

that are reported as trouble

- Initiating and completing backups for PBX

- logging all changes to PBX in data base

1988- As a Junior at Morristown High School started a

summer job position as a custodian. My duties were to

clean dorms. did this thru my senior year in high school

and when graduated in 1989 pursued another job

position at Drew as a mover. This mover position included

me being part of a crew of 5. My duties were office

furniture moves, dorm furniture moves, university event

setups, and parcel deliveries on campus. As a mover

lasted 10 years and ended up as a supervisor there.

In 2001 as the mover supervisor wanted a different

position and pursued a position in the telecommunications

department on campus. had no experience but the

manager than Larry Farmer offered me the position as a

technician along side an experienced technician. started in

May of 2001 and ended my career there at Drew University

in July of 2018. My duties as a telecommunications tech at

Drew included : maintaining a Intecom S80 PBX system,

managing move-ads-changes for faculty and staff,

students, installing phone lines, troubleshooting voice and

data issues, etc.

In 2019 worked for Fania Roofing Company in Dover,NJ

as a commercial roof installer till the end of 2019. In

December 2019 started to work for The Pingry School as

a Mechanical Technician, working on HVAC, Chiller, Pool,

electrical, and etc. for the school. The end of 2023

started and I'm presently working for Prime Healthcare as

a Telecom Technician full-time at Dover and Denville

Hospitals.
