Providing services to include data migration, systems installation, and database upgrade and patching activities. Providing post implementation performance and tuning, backup and recovery strategies along with implementing tiered storage solutions employing ZFS storage appliances for systems expected to grow to several petabytes in size. Worked on several Exadata Systems to achieve security hardening, vulnerability scanning, reporting and mitigation using DISA / Nessus STIG Security Scanning products and procedures. Worked projects to implement database solution in AWS VMs building databases in EC2 or RDS environments.

Satellite Ground Station Data: Team leader and senior technical Database engineer for a large company for 5 years providing services to the federal government during development, integration and deployment efforts for VLDB databases. These databases supported the warehousing of satellite data. Upgraded databases from 10g to 11g and the implementation of data conversion to Exadata platforms for development, testing and productions environment. System employed ASM, Spatial, Oracle Text and partitioning with OLS and OID in a RAC HA environment with databases consuming 30-40 Terabytes of storage. Engineers and lead the effort to upgrade one Full Rack Exadata X2-2 machine from High Performance disks to High Capacity disk drive expanding the ASM capacity of the machine.

Providing direct support for PeopleSoft databases across the enterprise while working with other corporate proprietary databases supporting Sales, Customer Service and Billing applications. Worked through Oracle version 8i, 9i and 10g employing RAC, ASM and OLS feature sets.
