My name is Nathan Massey. I have been involved with electrical for close to 24 years. It started while I was in the Marine Corps wiring up demolitions. I had a Sergeant advise me as a new Marine to take a course on basic electrical wiring and theory to help my knowledge for my job as a Marine and it would be something I could use should I get out of the Marines. I look back on that moment as he was right. I started out after the corps wiring new construction tilt ups and remodels on albertsons and food for less. After a year and a half of doing that I got an offer for more money doing custom homes locally. I learned to have a strong sense for detail and working with high end products. Again opportunity came to me working p wage jobs doing street lighting. I started broadening my my electrical knowledge and applications which has molded me to date. I had an old client talk with me one day and I kinda started my own business for the next year working for myself. I learned that running a business is alot of work that I wasnt ready for at that time. A friend I had crossed paths a while later and I was working with him doing costco's and over at a government lab. He had his own company and it was him and I and this brother. Unfortunately, work slowed and I did a bunch of smaller things here and there and as well as remodeled my fathers house. After completing his house I went looking for a job and wanted to get back on big crews. I landed a job and my first day the general foreman and foreman quit and then job was in somewhat bad shape. I ended up taking charge of a 5 story hotel across from John Wayne Airport. I completed that one and then ran another 3 more projects with them. An 8 story, 9 story and a 12 story. At this time I had left that company and wanted something a bit closer for a while and got a job as the electrical superintendent with ducros and was in charge of fashion islands mall in newport beach. Over there, I got to work with the fast pace and high standards of the Irvine Company. We did everything from shell changeouts, moving and removing panels, transformers, adding switchgear, maintain the lighting upgrading the grounds lighting, installing cameras, ran power for 5 g nodes ect. Covid came through and it came to a slow grind for me. I found an energy company that needed a general superintendent and was with them from mid 2021 till now. We've installed numerous level 2 and 3 EV chargers. I maintain the companys crew and job status. I work closely with all other trades and others that pertain to the job sites.

managing crews 13-22 electricians, was in charge of large and small store change outs (remodels), parking structure light change outs, electric vehicle charging stations, security camera installation and networking, ground works and any electrical related projects going on for the Irvine company at Fashion Island mall. Ordered materials, kept daily logs of projects, handled billing for Fashion Island, instructed foremen of projects and maintained scheduling, worked with General contractors, subcontractors and chief engineer on projects.

managing crews 30+, managing schedules, inspecting craftsmanship of projects, scheduling classes for crew members, reviewed timesheets and approved, reviewed expenses and approved, worked closely with the PM's to maintain progress of jobs, worked closely with the engineering dept identifying field solutions, worked closely with the director maintaining overall progress of jobs, worked closely with all foremen and superintendents of both our civil crew and electrical crew.
