Since I have mainly been in the food industry, I have a lot of customer service experience and am very good at helping customers with any issues they have or in some situations, am usually capable of calming a customer down if they are unhappy whether it be because they didn’t receive all of their order, or maybe some of their order was incorrect, or maybe the kitchen is very busy and the customer is getting upset about how long they have been or waiting or will have to wait till their order will be ready. I have learned how to stay calm and not panic in a stressful situation and have learned something about myself also which is that I am quick to think of a solution to calm or fix the craziness going on and am quick to think of things to try in order to get everything flowing the way it should be and so that my coworkers have a specific job they need to do and one place to be to get their job done till everything has calmed down, slowed down, and is back to normal. Throughout the years I’ve been working with customers, I have personally learned how to talk to and calm down a lot of different kinds of people just by staying calm, keeping a smile on my face, and being confident in what I am saying to that customer while assuring them I will do anything I possibly can to resolve the issue and to get a smile back on their faces. Also, because food is my main type of work experience, the only certification and achievement I have received in the work force my ServSafe Certification which I had to study then pass a long test over food quality and food related topics that managers are required to have before officially receiving the title of Manager/ Assistant Manager which was quit easy for me to pass the first time with the grade of a 100%, which was the first time my boss had ever seen anyone get a 100 % on the test, especially the 1st time.
