Installs, maintains, repairs, and modifications of emergency power generators sets, generators used to supply power when commercial power is interrupted by power outages or power failure. Some sites that require emergency generators are Hospitals, air craft control towers, fire departments communication facilities. As a Barrier Technician work on Aircraft arresting system (BAK-12) to ensure that it can be used to ensure that the BAK-12 is able to arrest and save million, dollar aircraft. Additional Duties: Facility Manager for 19 Generator Buildings located on Edwards AFB, which are kept in optimal operational condition. Electrical System Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) Monitor. Electrical System CA/CRL monitor of two equipment accounts one account for exterior electrical and Power production the accounts. Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) for the 412 Civil Engineer Squadron. Maintenance Production Supervisor

6510 Equipment Maintenance Squadron

Responsible for the aircraft maintenance performed by 310 Military and 128 civilian personnel working in 9 different air force specialties. Coordinates all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements for 84 assigned aircraft of 22 different air frame designs. Control monitors and directs all aircraft maintenance in progress to ensure mission ready aircraft reviews aircraft debriefing sheets and ensures qualified specialists and dispatched to correct discrepancies, maintains aircraft ground and air aborts in-flight emergencies and repeat records, identifies adverse trends in weapon system performance and recommend corrective actions.

Assistant Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (AGE) Branch Chief 961 Air born Warning and Control Squadron

Directly Supported the E-3 Aircraft mission by Supervising 21 Aerospace Ground Support Equipment Technicians and mechanics performing intermediate level maintenance, inspections, modifications, time compliance technical orders and extensive troubleshooting of 116 pieces of assigned powered and non-powered AGE Equipment valued at $2,300,000 dollars. Performs follow-up inspections on maintenance actions. Provides managerial guidance to subordinates, resolves personnel problems and advises the Branch Chief on all matters affecting this section.

Quality Assurance Inspector 961 Air Born Warning and Control Squadron (AWACS)

Conducts personnel evaluations special inspections and quality verifications on maintenance, equipment and personnel assigned to the maintenance complex. Monitors to ensure personnel compliance with, and currency and applicability of regulations, technical orders and maintenance operating instructions. Provides assistance and advice to the Chief of Quality assurance and the maintenance supervisors. Additional duties: Technical order distribution office monitor, 22 program monitor, material deficiency report monitor, combat oriented repair evaluation monitor, suggestion monitor, and maintenance information file monitor.

Supervised 18 AGE technicians and mechanics performing intermediate level maintenance, inspections, modifications, time compliance technical orders and extensive troubleshooting of 118 items of assigned powered and non-powered AGE, indirect support of the E-3 aircraft. Performs follow-up inspections of completed maintenance actions to ensure quality. Provides technical/managerial guidance to subordinates. Resolves personnel problems and advises the section superintendent on all problems. Additional duties: Section training monitor, branch readiness/mobility records monitor, fuel tank custodian and cost center manager.
