TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,

My name is Joe Feldman and I am excited to explore the opportunity of joining your company. Please review the attached copy of my current resume. I have a BS in Construction Science and Management with an emphasis in Architecture from Kansas State University and a MA from the University of Northern Colorado in Sports Administration. I have worked in the construction industry for over twenty-five years which has included owning my own contracting business. I have managed a variety of projects from small to multimillion-dollar sites including: new builds, remodels, interior finishing, and structural repairs in commercial, industrial, medical, and residential fields. I believe I have the experience needed to benefit the construction needs of your company. I have spent the past few years fulfilling a dream of participating in law enforcement. I have served as a deputy with the El Paso County Sheriff’s department at the Criminal Justice Center. In that position, I was able to continue expanding my ability to supervise and mentor others, manage tasks, build relationships, and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders. I believe my law enforcement expertise enhances my abilities in supervising and managing construction projects as I return back to the profession that I love.

In addition to my extensive experience in construction, I participate in the community as a high school football and rugby coach.

My skills include:

• Building and maintaining positive relationships

• Working collaboratively with team members

• Creative thinking and problem solving

• Construction management

• A strong work ethic

• Flexibility

• Vision

• Ability to learn quickly

I am excited about the possibility of becoming a part of your company. I believe I have the motivation and skills needed to be an asset to your organization. Please consider me for an interview. Thank you so much for your time. Sincerely,

Joe Feldman
