• Responsible for patrolling facility interior/exterior and monitoring security systems. Conduct foot/vehicle patrols of buildings and campus, to observe and deter trespassing, theft and vandalism; monitor CCTV to visually access remote areas; make scheduled and random tours of facility interiors utilizing walkie-talkie and Detec stations.

• At concierge desk or fixed post, maintained high visual presence; oversee process of inspection, identification, approval and logging of packages and visitors, verify authorization of tradespeople and vendors entering or departing facility.

• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order, protect valuables, and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas; provided directions and assistance to visitors and employees.

• Check all points of access/egress for signs of trespass or vandalism, and ensure door sensors and alarm systems are active.

• Investigate incidents of theft and other illegal acts. Respond to requests for assistance resulting from accidents or illness.

As reflected in my résumé, I have been employed as a security officer with several firms over the last 10+ years, where I successfully controlled and secured client premises, protecting property and people.
