Active since 2020, we are part of the growing Tijuana music scene, as we have shared the stage with many local acts and in many occasions and places around our city and its surroundings. We have released an EP titled “Isla Creta”, and “Fresno”, the first single of our upcoming full length album, of which we are ready to release more singles in the upcoming months. We have played in many venues in our hometown, as well as in Ensenada, Puebla and Mexico City, so far. I was responsible for coordinating our trip to play in Mexico City and Puebla in June of 2023, which included our travel, stay, communication with the venues and fulfilling our equipment needs. Non-profit organization that works with children with limited resources and/or physical limitations or diseases. In my time, we organized two major holiday events for the children, of which approximately 200 attended, as well as 200 volunteers. We also organized two funding events, and I was part of the team responsible for one of the 5 programs that compose the organization. Rodríguez, I am 22 years old. I was born in
San Diego, California, but have lived in
Tijuana since birth, except right after
getting my high-school diploma. At this
time I had finished high school and
moved to Mexico City to start my college
education at ITAM. I came back to
Tijuana/San Diego when the pandemic
began, and in the summer of 2020 I
began working at Walmart. I worked
there for a year and a few months, and
then moved to an RV Resort, part of Sun
Outdoors, in 2021, where I was hired as a
Food & Beverage Assistant. I learned how
to bartend, and was added to the
bartender rotation soon after. I worked
there until April of 2023.
I am a founding member of the
band Isla Creta, from Tijuana. We have
been active since 2020, and have since
played venues all around our city and in
other parts of Mexico. I play bass in most
songs, guitar on a few, and I am
responsible for backup vocals. I
compose, and I write lyrics. As an
independent, emerging band, the job of
Manager falls onto the four of us. We are
responsible for coordinating all of our
shows, as well as sometimes organizing
whole events with or without other
involved bands, artists, or merchants.
I haven’t been able to continue
my college education since the
pandemic forced me to pause, but am
working hard to make it a possibility for
myself in the near future.
Independent Car Wash – Owner, Washer

I owned and operated a mobile car wash. We offered our services in residences, we washed cars in customers’ homes.
