Job Description

Maintained infection control.

Sort, disassemble, clean and disinfect trays, instruments, carts, and equipment.

Select and use appropriate cleaning methods.

Operate and maintain cleaning, sanitizing and sterilizing equipment.

Ensures the use of effective and safe sterilization procedures.

Provide instrument sets for surgical procedures, for the hospital, and outside vendors.

Inventory, select and replenish supplies to medical/surgical carts on a regular basis and monitor par levels and changes in demand levels.

Knowledge of tools used in general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT/Plastic, Pediatrics, GYN, and Robotics (DaVinci).
