Preliminary phytochemical screening and in Vitro
antioxidant activity of Bougainvillea spectabilis
Phytochemical screening showed the presence of
triterpenoids, saponins, carbohydrates, phenols and oils
and fats. Antioxidant activity has been screened for the
leaf extract using DPPH assay and it exhibited good
antioxidant activity
