KENNETH SWINK

Dallas, TX ***** 469-***-**** ad2vsv@r.postjobfree.com WWW: Bold Profile

Grew up in Grand Prairie Tx. Where my father owned a precision sheet metal manufacturing company, as a kid I leaned how operate all types of machinery and program hand written CNC programs (before Cad)witch all seemed to be 2nd nature to me just part of growing up. Graduated Grand prairie High in 1991. In high school I had the time of my life managing the night shift at my Dad's shop and working with all my high school buddies. When I was a teenager I was part of a major revolutionary advancement in the metal fabrication industry as the computer age rolled in, office space and overhead incredibly reduced, giant drafting tables and various rulers hand tools and pencils were no longer needed which made design work and prototyping so much easier with all my team(colleges-job crew-friends) within arms reach of each other on their P.C.s. I was so fascinated with Autodesk' s new Dos program Autocad that I converted years and rows of filing cabinets of customer blueprints into a small stack of floppy discs and one filing cabinet of hard copies within a few months and then a few years later Autocad version 11 came out with 3D capability and Microsoft came out with Fabriwin CAM software I was so excited! I went back through our customers Autocad drawings and didn't stop refining them until I knew for sure that I incorporated every drafting style and technic know to date into those drawings geometric tolerancing, sliced views, section call outs, isometric illustrations, isometric exploded ext.

! 90 % of our customers products were designed and drafted by us if me my dad or one of my brothers weren't busy in the shop you would find one of us in the field taking dimension and drawing up sketches for a customer

"Just thinking back is causing me to tear up little" .After being cut from the the football team and I wasn't going to be the wolds greatest NFL wide receiver or Q.B. witch is every young boys dream. Determined to be the best at something I decided to capitalize on what I had going for me and decided to learn all I could about the Metal fab. business for the next 6 to 7 years I sought out jobs with companies that I felt had something directly for me to learn,it wasn't long before I felt I acquired the experience and skills of a proficient, safe, and productive operator of all the major brands and types of machines from CNC mills, metal lathes, punch and brake presses saws, plasma cutters, waterjets and final laser machines . I left the industry thinking that every job or trade would be just as easy and I would have natural skill and apt. for as I did for metal fab. Metal fabrication expert Extensive Knowledge and
