I started off doing home care for Rusk Cty Public Health then got certified and worked in a nursing home for a short while. I did not like that scene, not enough time with the clients. So I started doing private home care. I worked mostly on my own till the last 6 years. Several of my CNA friends (there was 9 of us) started working together. I would find the clients, or they would find me thru the court house recommending me, and I would do the scheduling. I took the clients to appointments, did scheduling, maid the client’s books, etc. And of course took care of the clients needs. From light cleaning to helping with their personal cares.
