Drafter-Designer:

As a designer and drafter, my responsibilities included providing services to specific buildings (MFU, MDU) for new or existing fiber routes and site walks, depending on the job or service requested. I was also responsible for designing fiber-to-cabinet solutions for passive optical networks and placing equipment for F2 to provide fiber service to the home (FTTH). Additionally, I prepared permits and necessary documents and created permit scale drawings using BSTCAD (Micro-Station).

CATVDesigner:

As a fiber cable designer, I was responsible for designing and drafting coaxial cables using AutoCAD/Spatial Net for Comcast. During the AS-Built process, I review design details, go through redlined detailed drawings of structures, identify dimensions and materials as needed, and create As-built staking sheets and service order drawings for underground and aerial cables.

For new designs, I placed nodes and equipment for new buildings and worked closely with the Construction and Engineering teams to provide the necessary information, such as strand maps, design maps, BOMs, charts, graphs, and sketches of vertical details, promptly.

I also used Spatial Net and Workbench for Comcast to conduct walkout surveys, and I also QC and approve redline SOW DOC depending on the type of job or service. Moreover, I work with business partners to ensure that all documents are ready and completed for design.
