Served in the US Navy from 1988 to 1993. ELECTRICAL ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT BAY AREA RAPID TRANSIT, OAKLAND CA 2017- 2023(PRESENT)

* Maintains and Implements Electrical Maintenance scheduling and planning utilizing CMMS maintenance software. Inspect, evaluates, and manages projects that are in progress and identifies methods to reduce issues in problem areas.

* Oversees and coordinates the organization, staffing, and operation activities responsible for the Maintenance, Repair, and Installation of facilities electrical systems such as Electrical switch gear. MCC’s, electro-mechanical systems and HVAC. In charge of Electrical Managers who are responsible for over 80 Electricians and 20 Mechanics.

*Comprehensive experience in electrical maintenance and/or construction for industrial, commercial, and residential projects, including motor wiring, starter sizing, panel installations, substations, OCB’s/VCB’s and transformers as well as mechanical troubleshooting.

*Experienced with lighting, emergency systems including Uninterruptable Power System (UPS) and Fire Alarm Systems, portable/emergency generators, radio communication, conduit bending, inventory control and supply ordering including record keeping.

*Skilled in schematic, one line, print reading, ladder logic, troubleshooting and general construction for electrical systems to National Electrical Code specifications.

*Procure material and equipment needed to complete contracted project. Maintain Safety Construction practices using SOP’s and LOTOTO.

*Maintains open communications with originating clients using TEAMS to discuss contingences that may cause delays of project due to manufacture lead times.

*Manage Sub-Contractors to completion of Conduit, Switchgear, Disconnects, PI&D’s, RIO cabinets, Fire control cabinets, wire installation and testing. Finalize Punch Lists and Redline prints to exact specifications of equipment layout and locations. Manage all Testing of electrical equipment to operational readiness and functionality.

*Maintain strict adherence to the installation of High Line and Transformers in accordance to engineered prints. Coordinate with surveyors to plot proper pole pads. Manage sub-contractors grubbing landscaping so ACSR can be installed with little to no interference.
