Most recently I was a Translator and Interpreter/Customer Service for ECI from 2013-2023 translating for Spanish and Portuguese client(s) into English giving detailed instruction(s) to those in need. Later writing detailed instruction(s) for the information given and uploading information into computer records.
2009-2013 worked as a Certified Nursing Asst. at Genesis Nursing Home and Rehabilitation working closely beside Doctors and Nurses.
2008-2009 was a translator/consultant at Delmarva Counseling Center under the supervision of Clinical Director, Dr. Beatrice Hamilton helping people understand the information that was given to non-English speaking client(s), also being able to translate many of their brochures from English into Spanish. Also assisted in the clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, taking notes, assisting with customer service and, helping with sanitation, answering phones and writing down detailed messages.
Other:
Volunteer work on the weekend(s) working with Adults in public speaking and sometimes translating due to speech impediment and/or other condition.
Special Projects include translating brochures, pamphlets and books from English to Spanish or Portuguese which was done at Delmarva Counseling Center during my employment.
