ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE

Planning:

Plan and effect proactive and preventive maintenance schedules of various Electrical equipments and distribution system to increase the power system up time and reliability. Work Site Activity:

Handle routine Maintenance, Inspection, Commissioning, testing and Troubleshooting of HT / LT Motors and Protective relays

Look after Equipments and associated Protection relays, EHT / HT Power, Transformers, DC systems OHL and MV switchgears and Testing of Protection interlocks Schemes.

Identify areas of obstruction / breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipment through application of troubleshooting tools

Perform first line maintenance and reporting faults on electrical equipment.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory norms and safety standards.

Identify, prepare and apply electrical isolations.

Prepare Daily maintenance equipment status Log. Frequently update of all engineering change system

.Ensure that the PM, CFT checklist are filled and all audit documents are up to date.

Oversee installation, calibration, testing, maintenance and overhauling of electrical equipment in use by using precision test equipment and other tools.

Participate in Job Safety Analysis process and review conclusions.

Monitor construction work sites for compliance with Permit to Work and company standards.

Document review e.g. Maintenance Procedures, modification work packs etc.

Prepare Daily maintenance equipment status Logs.

Ensure that all records/logs/certificates are maintained and updated to provide evidence of terminal conformance to HSE standards.

Participate in review process.

Support commissioning and optimization of new and modified plant.

Maintenance of site and area Certified Equipment e.g. electrical distribution.

Construction and pre-commissioning where the work will be agreed and led by the Maintenance Superintendent or Vendor.

Carry out modifications to statutory standards and codes.

Provide technical support.

Specify spares requirements.

Testing and official witness acceptance of construction and vendor modifications.

Manage electrical maintenance priorities, vendor performance and repair tracking system.

Be aware of, and implement rules and regulations based upon statutory and company requirements.

Ensure where performance standards have not been met that the correct plans are in place to resolve.
