Coordinated development and production of more than twenty proposals for NASA deep space and earth science missions ranging in value from $20M to $1B with PIs and Proposal Teams. Partnered in the design and development of JPL’s rapid, concurrent mission design and engineering center, Project Design Center. Responsible for tasks in excess of $200,000 including construction of the commercial multimedia teleconferencing and audiovisual rooms. Collaborated with architects and electricians during the bidding process to optimize designs, maximize performance, and minimize cost. This facility supported a team of engineers that achieved a reduction of 90% in workforce time and 50% workforce cost reduction for proposal and concept study generation. Planned and managed all outreach events and efforts for the Develop New Projects program office, included innovative demonstrations of emerging technologies in the Flight Systems Testbed, Project Design Center and the Design Hub during Open House events. Developed yearly budgets for the support team and resources of the DNP and Test Engineering Lab group.
Supported mission design center operations including training middle management in website development, teaching html classes, modeling and animating spacecraft for mission design reports, designing and writing facility brochures for public and industry distribution, and organizing open house activities every year.
