PROJECT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

Environmental

● Implement work plans and supervise field crews for underground storage tank (UST) closures, excavations, drilling operations, utility locates and EFR events.

● Perform rock, soil and groundwater sampling, light non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) recovery, survey well and drilling locations and create groundwater potentiometric maps.

● Map, collect and log soil samples for analysis of unexploded ordnance (UXO) using J-MAC and MI samplers.

● Collect, field test and ship groundwater and surface water samples for baseline analysis prior to drilling operations in the Marcellus and Utica shale formations, scan and upload data to the central office.

● Install, operate, repair and calibrate air-monitoring equipment. Submit reports on instrument performance. Collect and install particle filters for air monitoring equipment. Transport, deliver and chain samples to the laboratory.

● Inspect and conduct operation and maintenance on soil and groundwater remediation systems utilizing high and low vacuum soil vapor extraction, catalytic oxidation, chemical oxidation, air sparging, air striping and activated carbon adsorption.

● Oversee the injection of hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate.

● Assist Ohio EPA in conducting stream analysis.

● Conduct soil resistivity and ground penetrating radar (GPR) mapping to identify potential areas of concern.

● Oversight of permitted waste hauler trucks involving waste verification, manifest review, sample collection, waste screening, observation of approved discharges and data entry of manifests.

● Assist with the design and installation of an innovative ozone microsparge remediation system.

● Create a template for writing UST Closure and Phase I Reports, perform Phase I ESA’s Mining

● Inspect and document activities on coal surface mines for compliance with ORC 1513.

● Conduct water testing and collect water, soil and mine spoil samples for analysis and interpret monthly and quarterly water monitoring data.

● Measure, calculate and verify acreage of disturbed and reclaimed lands.

● Review and evaluate compliance with engineering plans for sediment ponds, diversion channels, stream channel reconstruction and wetland reconstruction.

● Collect evidence of violations and issue notices of violation and imminent harm cessation orders.

● Prepare and write detailed site inspection reports.

● Assists with complaint investigations.

Landfill

● Maintain optimal operating conditions at landfill gas well field collection systems.

● Log GHG (greenhouse gas) readings using a GEM 2000 gas analyzer and ensure optimal performance at flares.

● Install, clean, and repair pumps and associated piping (HDPE) and install, maintain, and repair electronic control panels and equipment associated with leachate and gas collection systems.

● Operate and maintain a leachate pretreatment system utilizing metal precipitation technologies and carbon adsorption.

● Coordinate waste disposal activities.

● Oversee, log and assist with the installation of gas collection wells. Electrical / Mechanical / Other

● Assist electricians and mechanics in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electric motors, pumps, and panels.

● Various construction projects involving building a steel framed remediation building, raising a second story roof, installing a porch, installing stone walkways.

● Collect food scraps and operate and maintain a worm farm producing over a cubic yard of worm castings per month. Conduct online and on the ground outreach efforts promoting composting. Health and Safety

● Implement health and safety policies and procedures at a large regulator manufacturing plant.

● Train new employees, update Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) and review fieldwork packages.

● Maintain material safety data sheet (MSDS) files, monitor training requirements, and conduct safety audits.

● Coordinate and oversee employee health screenings.
