My studies focused on networking, IT project management, technical planning, network security and business case analyses. I created working prototypes for large WAN networks and desktop applications and created a large IP address scheme for the WAN project. I also completed all the classes necessary to prepare me for my MCSE and I passed the test for MCP.

EXPERIENCE

After graduation I worked as a support engineer in Little Rock Arkansas. My work consisted of assisting local IT departments to troubleshoot issues they were unable to reconcile on their own. I was also able to work for 6 months in Bryant Arkansas with the local IT to build a new network for the fire and police departments. I assisted with a data transfer over a T1 line from the old building to the new one. I setup a dual NIC card on the server for communication between the departments. I also configured the routers and switches for a VLAN and routing connections for all workstations.
