Based on project requirements, a portion of the data processing for a study titled "The Role of the Big Geographic Sort in Online News Circulation Among US Reddit Users," published in the journal "Nature," was replicated. This involved handling user Geolocation data, including cleaning, filtering, aggregating, matching, etc., for approximately 150GB of data. A reference table was created to match Reddit sub-reddit names with real-world geographic locations, encompassing around 2,800 Reddit sub-reddits.
