Telecommunications Engineer

Designed, implemented, and maintained of voice and data systems. Served as the single-point-of-contact for high-impact incidents and issues.

Reviewed and acknowledged alarms as they were reported by a proactive UC monitoring system and assessed the impact and severity.

Troubleshot, researched, designed and implemented features and functionality on platforms such as Unified Communications Manager (CUCM, CME), Contact Center Express (UCCX), Unity Connection (CUCxn), IM & Presence (IMP), Unified Border Element (CUBE).

Replaced Microsoft Lync with Cisco Jabber and Jabber Mobile company-wide. This allowed for a more robust instant messaging platform, Gave the firm the ability of voice phone on laptops without having to create VPN phones or install a separate softphone.

Updated firmware on all telephones.
