1.Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)

Summer Youth Program is a NYC program from the ages 13-21. At the time I got this opportunity it was during COVID which meant all of my work had to be online. The first week was me learning how to do the work they required. The weeks after included me submitting work to the program whenever there was a due date. During this time I learned how to do taxes, I learned about work ethic, I learned about responsibility of not only my own life but the responsibility of making sure I do my part so the rest of the team doesn't fall behind.

September 2020 - June 2021

2.Tutoring (In person)

I tutored kids from the ages 5-10, this was not by a professional company this was me doing it on my own. I taught reading, writing, and math. I personally have my own methods of teaching, I like having kids learn in interactive ways rather than just watch and learn.
