Worked on the Consolidated Communications Facility (CCF), Space Station Training Facility (SSTF) projects, and assigned to the Front-End Processor Subsystem (FEPS) specifically. The CCF provides centralized front-end communications services to the Space Station Control Center (SSCC), Mission Control Center (MCC), Multi-Program Control Center (MPCC), and for future programs at JSC. The FEPS is a building block on which the processing elements of the CCF are based. The FEPS performs all computational functions required within the CCF.

The computational functions include (but are not limited to) telemetry validation, data conversion, data formatting, and data output to other elements. Output interfaces include other CCF elements, MCC, SSCC, and other NASA and non-NASA facilities.
