PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Though the wording is non-standard, I am seeking a change of direction with my work. My sobriety date is May 8, 1992. I feel that my experience and knowledge allows me to help others seeking it. I am willing to speak with anyone, but I do not believe I can give anyone the desire to stop and stay alive. Maybe this will be an opportunity to help someone discover this inside him or her.

I do not know the limits of my intelligence and experience, but I know of many areas where I will always defer to others. I believe in total abstinence except for prescribed medication with those taken strictly as prescribed. I believe in consequences. I believe in slips, but I also believe they are extremely rare.

PRIOR POSITIONS HELD

Worked the last several years in various capacities warehouses for LKQ (automobile parts dealer and reseller), Dyke Industries (a door and window manufacturer) and Collins Cold Food Storage (storing food between producers and grocery stores). Tasks varied between loading and unloading trucks, handling returns, training staff at all levels, tracking and correcting inventory mistakes, working as a Returns assistant unloading, sorting, and entering items to be placed back into inventory while continuing the special project.
