Numerous bearing change outs, trouble shot leaks and fixed entire refrigeration systems.

Rebuilt gear box in a Wildcat Capstan used to raise and lower ship’s anchor. Performed two complete overhauls of Detroit 146 I Diesel engine which included numerous head change outs and timing problems. Basic and advanced ship board damage control to include firefighting, flooding, pipe patching, and structure shoring. Operator gunner, and mechanic on a Mrk IV 7m Rigid hull inflatable boat with a Cummings 1. 9L marine diesel engine. Two sea water impeller replacements at sea while on mission and various electrical trouble shooting problems. Supervised 4 individuals to assist with maintenance, 3+ years naval engineering experience including the tear down and repair of over 100 hydraulic cranes cylinders boring out the cylinder, putting new seals on the piston, responsible for sending, tracking, receiving, and getting the shaft chrome coated by an outside contractor. Supervising 3 other personnel, repaired over 200 remote operated valves, replaced 3 dipolar valves which are essential to a ships water supply, 2 bow thruster units 1 I replaced the bull gear in the transmission 1 I replaced the main seal which keeps the ocean water outside the ship, responsible for the repair and maintenance of 50 golf carts, hazmat and safety officer, responsible for the operation and maintenance of a main machinery room onboard a naval vessel, and have learned to work and maneuver in tight awkward dark spaces.
