Successfully managed nationwide backhaul capacity upgrade projects for T-Mobile in their data centers (DCs) and Multiple System Operators (MSOs). These projects encompassed line cards, routers, switches, racking, wiring, and configurations.

One of my key achievements was overseeing a large-scale program involving the installation of over 700 routers and switches, along with associated racking, power, and fiber systems, across multiple locations nationwide. This involved a 6-month planning period, resulting in the successful implementation of a portfolio of over 70 site-specific projects over a 5-month period. To ensure smooth execution, I led a team of 3 project managers and coordinated with over 20 site-localized teams.

Responsible for project management, customer interface and support, on-site personnel management, as well as the coordination and operation of Cisco and third-party teams that provided engineering, staging, wiring, installation, remote administration, and configuration services. Through my leadership and coordination efforts, I ensured that the projects were completed successfully and met the objectives of T-Mobile's backhaul capacity upgrade initiatives.

Pacific Southwest Realty Services (Los Angeles) – As a Network Architect and System Support specialist, I successfully led the client's transition from an aging Server 2003 system to a private cloud system with synchronized second location backup. This involved designing and implementing a robust and efficient cloud-based solution to replace the outdated system. Additionally, I updated, optimized, and stabilized all desktops and laptops within the client's network to ensure smooth and reliable operation. This included implementing necessary performance improvements, optimizing configurations, and stabilizing the overall system environment.

Amazon - As a Project Manager, I led a deployment team responsible for server/rack end-of-life upgrades. My role involved validating user requests, overseeing equipment orders, and scheduling upgrades.

T-Mobile - As an Infrastructure Project Manager, I collaborated with facilities, networking, server support, Avaya, and finance teams to successfully implement the first phase of a three-phase installation plan for call center capacity upgrades in two newly established data centers. The project was completed on schedule and under budget. My responsibilities included creating and updating scope, scheduling, and risk analysis tables. The equipment installed in the data centers comprised Avaya and Cisco Systems UCS, audio-bridging, and video conferencing solutions.

Microsoft

oAs a Deployment Project Manager (DPM) for the web-based Microsoft Online Customer Portal (MOCP) online try/buy sales systems, the predecessor to Microsoft 365, I collaborated with security, QA, legal, and data center operations groups (GFS/GNS). I served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for privacy, PCI-DSS, and SOX issues within the group, and acted as the team liaison to the privacy attorneys. MOCP has since become a part of Microsoft Office Online and is now integrated into Microsoft 365.

oAs a Program Manager for Migration for v1 of Microsoft's Essentials Business Server®, my responsibilities included:

oIdentifying migration workloads and developing product integration plans.

oProviding written specifications for software tools and product documentation.

oCreating migration paradigms, product flows, and user (UIX) interfaces.

AT&T - As Lead Infrastructure Deployment PM, I was chosen to oversee the nationwide iPhone launch, successfully bringing over 30 projects from the initiation stage to production-ready status. I completed the projects one week ahead of schedule, and my responsibilities included equipment oversight for new servers, server upgrades, and new switching.

University of Washington Medical Center – I provided HIPAA, FERPA, and SOX auditing and remediation.

Kemper Insurance – I led a project to create and implement a centralized online legal library, eliminating the need for physical books, for a 35-office legal department. I designed the system, selected vendors, and coordinated with the telecommunications, network, and legal departments. Architected and managed the 2-year implementation of Tivoli framework system at Sears Corporate to provide Electronic Software Distribution to 10,000+ nodes over 3 customer sites, converting from OS2/NTVDM2.
