PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

ETI-Efficient Tec International, LLC-DALLAS, TX. August 26, 2019 - Currently CAD Detailer

I am working designing and drawing stainless steel and aluminum Railings Systems for commercial projects. Among my duties to start a project are: First at all, I take as base the quate, build of materials (BOM), and architectural drawings provided by my estimated coworker. The architectural drawings are provided by the client in the process of quote and BOM elaboration. I begin to prepare the approvals drawings such as plan view, section/elevation, and detail. In these approval drawings, I request filed dimensions. The drawings are submitted to the client for his/her approval. The client returns the drawings with his/her red lines. I update the client’s red lines as many times until the drawings are approved. Once the clients approve the drawings, I prepare the shop drawing to fabricate the railings, as well as the distribution drawings which are send to the client to take them as field installation. Also, I elaborate the final BOM which describes the quantity of the material to need for fabricate the railing regard in the project. NOW SPECIALTIES, INC-DALLAS, TX. I worked designing and drawings aluminum (ACM) and profile metal cladding walls façade, soffits, columns, and copings for commercial projects. Among my duties were: First, I took as base the architectural plan view, elevation and details provided by the client throughout by my estimated coworker which marked up the areas to regard to start to design. The architectural drawings were adapted to NOW Specialties format and submitted to the client for approvals. The client returns the drawings with red lines. Next step, I updated the client’s red lines many times until his/her approval. I worked using AUTOCAD, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop software’s to design and draw steel/glass custom and standard ornamental Doors, Gates, Railings, Balconies, Spiral Stairway, Windows, Inserts, and Fence for Residential projects. Mainly, I worked drawing two different steel doors. The first one, Classic style composite by scroll work, collar, baluster, and volutes of art and architectural forged. The second one, Modern style composite by stile narrow, light and pulls. Those types of doors were designed on single and double doors with square, full arch and eyebrow top, transom, and sidelights. As a project supervisor, I worked as a supervision of civil work in varies government projects such as mitigation works, school remodeling, parks, and communal houses. Among my duties were verified that the project plays out in according the plans and specifications, time, budget, and quality. Monitoring the project performance starting from job site delivery to the general contractor, attending pre-construction meeting, quality testing material, work progress, and so on. As a “Architect, I worked in the design stage with multidisciplinary technical group such as civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers in the projects “UNOPS El Salvador Offices and El Salvador Airport Parking Lot”. With that group we created the architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical plans, as well as the specifications, budget, schedule, and establish the time. As additional duties, I collaborated with the procurement department, being part of the committees of opening bidding and evaluation to determine contract winning.

Among my duties were recording and keep organize the files of quality control plan of Civil, Electromechanical, wiring works photographic field, as well as check the documentation of monthly payment request by the contractor.

I designed varies Residential Projects with technical partner group. The process started from meeting with the client to expose his program, needs, and requirements. The next step, I started to prepare an architectural design many times until the client approved. Once the client approved the architectural design, the civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers started to elaborate their design. When all designs were ready, I submitted them to city hall for approvals and once the city approved, the design was delivered to the client.

I worked in the Construction of 44 Km Transmission Line 115 kV from ‘Electrical Substation 15 September to Substation San Miguel’. Among my duties were draw topographic track routing alignment (routing change pole), poles location, civil works such as excavation, soil replace and compaction, reinforcing installation, pouring concrete, mounting poles logistics support, cable laying, and so on. As complementary activities I drew "As Built" Plans, attendance to project meetings, prepare request for information, submittal, monthly payment request process, logs, diaries, and daily field report, and so on. As achievements in this project, I gained experience in the construction field, knowledge on transmission lines 115 kV projects, starting from the design, drawings, construction, surveyor equipment (total station) and its data processing to land desktop (Now is Civil 3D) software and PLS CAD.
