My Job Responsibilities Include:
Participating in the preparation and sign off of the safety program prior to commencement of work
Periodically patrol the work site to verify that the work is carried out under safe conditions, with no violations of safety requirements
Advise the site supervisor and workers of corrective actions when any unsafe conditions or violations are observed
Check each work procedure from the safety point of view and advise the site supervisors before commencement of work and or while working
Collate, analyze and submit HSE statistics report to the supervisor and client’s site representative and make recommendation for safety improvement (for incident / accident).
Maintain and share Learning-From-Incidents (LFIs) and other HSE communications.
Check on the use of all types of Personal Protective Equipment, evaluate effectiveness and suggest improvements
Liaise with client’s safety function in matters of safety requirements and training
Join in all accident investigations and give circulation on findings
Prepare forthnightly HSE action summary for project management
Make requisition for all Personal Protective Equipment and other life-saving appliances
