(landing gear, engine mounts, and other components). I program all CNC machines: purchasing and sales. Obtained two Patents for new tools (Tuck Cotter Pin Pliers). Test designs technical feasibility by verifying calculations, producing CAD/CAM simulations, and building prototypes for experimental aircraft. Built prototypes and scale models to test different designs. Took designs from drawings to the consumer. Purchased capital equipment, materials, and tooling. Currently only doing tech calls. Machinist, CNC Programmer, Foreman, Engineer, Senior Engineer. I had multiple positions over my tenure at Celata Eng. 2nd generation owner, with 25 employees. I did every job from machining, welding, CNC programming, designing, purchasing, sales, etc.
I invented the world-famous B-52 Fly Cutter (1979) which is still in production today. Manufactured the prototype for the first mechanical heart to be surgically implanted, for AbioMed. Designed and manufactured the robotic arm for the submarine that was used to recover artifacts from the Titanic shipwreck, for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. The design and manufacture of this item was a "rush" job, accomplished in three days when the previous robotic arm broke on-site in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Produced parts for the NASA Lunar Rover.
FAA-approved repair station for PanAm Airlines and American Airlines. Re-manufactured vintage car parts, including the transmission housing and various control arms, for Porsche. Satisfied customers include Osram-Sylvania, A.W. Chesterton, Macom, Boeing, McDonald-Douglas, Polaroid, and G.E. Jet Engines, both the Schenectady, NY, and Lynn, MA, branches. Consultant
