Former AJC Facility, Atlanta, Georgia. Project Manager for the operation and maintenance of a multi phase extraction (MPE) system with total fluids recovery installed at the Former AJC Facility located at the City of Atlanta. The objective of the system is to remove free product which exceeds one eighth inch in thickness and to reduce dissolved phase concentrations to below 5,000 micrograms per liter (µg/L) at the site. Other responsibilities include quarterly groundwater sampling, effluent sampling, monthly discharge sampling report, and quarterly status report preparation as required by GEPD regulations.
Fort Gillem Redevelopment, Forest Park, Georgia. Project Manager for monitoring remediation activities and helped develop a Brownfield Corrective Action Plan as part of a planned transfer to the Forest Park/Fort Gillem Urban Redevelopment Authority. This very complex Corrective Action Plan required the development of remedies to address the requirements of all of the project parties including the Army, Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GEPD), U.S. EPA, and interested prospective purchasers. In charge of collecting soil and groundwater samples as part of ongoing Phase II investigations, surface soil sampling, remedial activities, and Compliance Status Report (CSR) support.
