Industry Project leader: (Private and Public sectors: National and International Funds

-Land Suitability: (Natural Resources Organization, 2003-2010, 20000 USD) Conducted multi-purpose soil surveys to assess land suitability for agricultural, urban, watershed management, waste disposal uses, by field investigation and RS and GIS.

-Soil remediation and stabilization: (Gas Company,2023, Sewage Company, 7000 USD) Evaluated soil degradation along gas pipelines on highly susceptible sediments and geotechnical properties. Biological, chemical and mechanical treatments applied.

-Soil Reclamation: (Water Company and private sector, 2014-2015, 5000 USD) Monitored salt affected soils through field and remote sensing approaches and interpreted the data and reclamation strategies for plantations.

-Soil Health and Quality (Natural Resources Organization, 5000 USD) Monitored following human induced land use change and land degradation. Biological, physical and chemical attributes are investigated.

-Land Use Planning (Golestan Provincial Government, 40000 USD) for Urbanization: identification, description and data analyses of the deep fragile soil horizons for hilly urbanization

-Site selection for heavy metals (Gorgan University, 4000 USD) mainly using clay mineralogy assessments. Clay minerals play a major role in sorption of the heavy metals. Smectite type of clay has higher sorption capacity than other types.

-Carbon sequestration and C modeling and climate change: (Soil and Water Institute of IRAN, 7000 USD) modeling of future soil C levels with response to climate and land use change. Roth C model was used.

-Soil nutrient evaluation: (Gorgan University, 6000 USD) mineral weathering in the rhizosphere and potassium release. Induced weathering of clay minerals using biological and chemical treatments were carried out to evaluate the mineral change and nutrient release potential.

-Soil Survey and mapping: (Agriculture Organization, 8000 USD) Conventional and Digital Soil mapping projects based on US Soil Taxonomy. R and GIS software are used.

-Archeology projects: (Paris Museum and Iran National Heritage organization, 5000 USD). Applying mainly soil micromorphology to detect traces of human dispersal

-THOCA Project: (NORD FORSK project, https://www.thoca.org/, 50000 USD) to investigate soils and human migration in central Asia

-Loess-Paleosols paleoclimate projects in Central Asia, China, Middle East, and Eurasia as international projects (Iran National Science Foundation, Chinese Academy of Science, Tajik Academy of Science, DFG, NORD FORSK, 100000 USD)

-Geo-Agribusiness: (Gorgan University, 8000 USD) using indigenous geologic materials for crop production e.g. Glauconitic sandstone and shales as potassium fertilizers

-Soil-water Quality for fishery: (Fisheries Organization, 5000 USD)

-Dating Soils and Sediments: OSL and C dating of sediments

-Lab analyses expert: Physical, chemical, mineralogical, geotechnical, geochemical SKILLS
