Repair the New York City public schools all over 5 boroughs. Change of lentils, ornamental and structural iron work, installation of I-beans, reinforcement of metal, rebars, installation of sheet metal to waterproof buildings. Installation of windows and doors, framing, sheet rock, pointing windows, caulking and perform other related duties as required. Work closely with the school construction’s authority (SCA). As a Shop Stewart, I am responsible for making sure that all the employees are provided with the safety equipment (PPE); responsible for time and attendance, which involves the recording of hours and the timesheet record; provide information regarding rules and policies. Worked on the restoration projections of the iconic buildings in all 5 boroughs including the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Verrazzano-Narrow Bridge, Queens and Staten Island zoos. As well, the Red Hook project, which involved the brick work.
