CAREAR OBJECTIVE
Am a graduate of Environmental Science and Resource Management from the National Open Universities of Nigeria, Abuja. I did my industrial training with the Nigeria National Park Service during my undergraduate program. I worked in the Ecology and Resource Management department of the Establishment and collecting and testing of data on Fauna and Flora and conservation, Preservation, Protection and enforcement of Conservation laws and Environmental Policies was a delight to me which made me to develop interest in seeking to knowing more about Environmental issues and Resource management.
Before my graduation from the university, I got job with Nigeria National Park Service where Nature Conservation is their primary objective. Nature Conservation, Preservation and Protection of Natural resources in Nigeria National Parks helped me develop a special love for Environmental management and Biodiversity.
I have served several positions in the organization but of note is firstly my involvement with the Organization’s Research unit and Ecology and Resource management, Range management, Conservation Education Unit in collaboration with NGOs on medical outreaches within the Support Zone Communities.
Secondly being the coordinator of students on industrial attachment within the organization, I was involved in counseling of these students on their emotional wellbeing within their new environment.
I am a proactive professional, with eleven years of work experience and a proven knowledge of biodiversity conservation, aiming to leverage my abilities to successfully fill builder role at your Company/Organization. Diligent professional with experience in environmental management, government acts and environmental laws and policies
Ability to work under pressure, with little or no supervision. Good communication skills, Fluent in speaking and writing English language. Efficient in computer operations, especially in Microsoft word, Access and Excel. Excellent team spirit and result oriented.
