*6.2019-Present: Family Matters/Helping Son with his law practice, and help caring for my now deceased Mother.

In addition to the above I spent 8 months working as the assistant manager for a local hardware store, which included merchandising of products, scheduling of employees, opening and closing the facility, overall customer satisfaction, cash handling, ordering of products necessary for the overall profitability for the organization.

I also worked as the Associate Production Manager for a nationally recognized thrift store company, which included processing 12-15 thousand pounds of donated materials on a daily basis, hiring and placing of new staff, general upkeep of production area, working with retail sales staff to ensure proper goods were pushed to the floor, overall upkeep of retail store space and recycling and disposing of all goods unsuitable for retail sale, training and cross-training of staff for effectual production standards.

06.2014-06.2019: Superintendent of second shift operations:

Direct one on one communications with the customer/superior relationships with 2nd shift group leads and shift lead.

Direct Vendor communications, including Purchase orders, Projects management, and bid acquisitions.

QPulse applications including CAPA’s Continuous improvements, and Scrap

Layered Audits and 2nd level Layered audits for all quality and operational goals and guidelines.

Direct communication with Ryder and Penske Trucking to ensure that materials are shipped and received as required or directed by the customer.

Corporate communications, including Safety Alerts, State of the Plant, Facilities Audits, bid acquisitions, purchase orders, Change management requests and CAPEX documentations.

Disciplinary actions as required for all CLI and temporary staffing.

Organizational operations including 5S, FIFO, Continuous improvements, maintenance of equipment, records retention, delegation, training, follow up, and goals for staff.

Management of RTR, budgeting of projects as requested by customer or corporate or operational demands.

Manage and direct On-Site staffing company to ensure proper staffing, and that all disciplinary and accolades are issued and fair.

Comprehensive Logistics: 06.2011-06.2014. Operations Supervisor for all Sequencing, Repack, CMA, CMC, and Bulk Operations.

Ceva Logistics: 06.2003-06.2011. Operations Manager, responsible for the safe transportation of Ford vehicles, VIA the Norfolk and Southern Railway. Managed the loads for 25 union personnel and ensured strict local and federal guidelines were met.

Qualserv Co. (formally Smith St. John): 04.1992-05.2004. Distribution Facilities and Inventory Control Manager. Managed 6.5 million dollars of approx. 3500 different SKU’s of restaurant, hotel and bar materials, along with the 25 non-union employees who received, picked and shipped to local and national chain establishments.

Gerson Co. 01.1990-04.2004. Warehouse Manager. Managed seasonal employees for distribution of Import materials from China and Mexico. Typical staffing was upwards of 75 at the height of seasonal work.
