Responsible for telephonically case managing insured all over the world. I have a case load anywhere from 60 -70 insured monthly. I work on certifying their admissions, their chemotherapy, medications and procedures. I keep in touch with them via phone or email every 2 months or as needed to make sure they are receiving their care. I am on call once every 6 weekends and work on any emergency evacuations from a country to a safe place.

Trilogy Health Services staff nurse/MDS Coordinator 2012 – 2014

Responsible to work the floor as needed in passing medications, taking vitals, overseeing the physician’s orders and the work of the CNA’s. I also worked on MDS to help with the payment from the state and worked with therapy to ensure the individuals were receiving the care they needed and that the staff was following thru with the rehab.

Rose Walk Village DON 2004 – 2012

Responsible to work with the ED on educating the staff on the state regulation’s to ensure that the residents were receiving the care they deserved. Hiring the nursing and aides, auditing the quality of care by the staff to insure that we were following all the state regs as well as keeping the dignity of the residents. Working with the MDS nurse and SSW to make sure the plan of care’s was individualizes and appropriate for the residents.

Charter Behavioral Health/West Minister Village 1996 – 2000

Responsible at Charter for overseeing the ADL care, medication administration, daily therapeutic groups and charting of clients from age 3 to 90. Worked on the Alzehiemers unit and wrote protocols.

At Westminster Village I did staff nursing and education for staff and overseeing the care of 46-50 residents along with the aides and other staff.

St Elizabeth Hospital staff nurse/ nurse manager/educational coordinator 1983 – 1995

Responsible for the numerous duties from education of staff to care of the patients. Worked on the cardiac floor/telemetry unit. I also helped to set up the outpatient PTCA unit at the old hospital. Worked with the staff to make sure we were following all the JCAHO guidelines and all the policies for safety of not only the patients but the staff.
