I have evaluative and reactive experience in New York State Parole with assignments both field and facility based.

I have both analytical as well as service based experience in Social Services as well as service referral.

My background entails supervisory training of new as well as preexisting staff. It also includes coordinating proposals with managerial staff as a Staff Analyst.

My education encompasses behavioral as well as analytical and practical subject matter. I have Computer Information Systems skills from Mercy College and some teaching experience of computer systems. This includes at least three years of support of the then Division of Parole’s Case Management System I have computer networking and computer repair experience with NYSPIN and software installation with Compulearn. I have volunteer experience with computer instruction at the Koehler Senior Center for one year.I have additional computer related volunteer experience since 4/2006. I am well experienced with Microsoft Office as well as Adobe Suite and digital photography. I am CompTIA A+ and Network+certified. I assembled and designed Personal Computer systems.I have Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud based computing.

8/2004-4/2006 Senior Parole Officer, Poughkeepsie. I supervised a field unit of 10 Parole Officers that included Duchess and Sullivan Counties. I previously covered Sullivan County, the ASU and Work Release for Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Duchess, Ulster and Sullivan Counties. I covered the SOU and Ulster Counties as well as Sullivan, Work Release and Daytop Program when coverage is needed. As a Senior Parole Officer we were often assigned the role of investigating prospective Parole Officers and informing Personnel of our findings.

1/2003-8/2004 Senior Parole Officer, Peekskill @ Poughkeepsie. I supervised a field unit of 9 Parole Officers from two different office locations. This was predominately the City of Newburgh and surrounding areas but also included Northern Westchester. I also was assigned the sex offender caseload for Orange County. As a Senior Parole Officer and Parole Officer this included arrests to prevent potential loss of life, property and the commission of illegal acts. This also included bodily searches of parolees to detect contraband including weapons. Assistance was occasionally provided to deter crime at schools and other public places in the city of Newburgh. Inspections of persons entering field officers were conducted to identify unauthorized visitors and maintain security

11/1995-1/2003 Senior Parole Officer, Bronx 5 Bureau; I supervised a field unit of Parole Officers that perform investigative law enforcement and work and service referral tasks.

5/1993-11/1995 Senior Parole Officer, Work Release 5; I supervised a unit of Parole Officers that supervised inmates while they were released to the community to procure and attend employment. This also involved relapse evaluation and referral as well as resource development. Inmate Status Reports were also required for Parole release hearings.

1/1992-5/1993- Parole Officer, Poughkeepsie field Bureau; I supervised parolees from the city of Poughkeepsie and later from various towns throughout Orange County. This involved Referral and liaison with service agencies such as substance abuse treatment. I also prepared Parole Violation Reports which included legal documentation of violations of the conditions of release.

1982-1992- Parole Officer, New York State: I evaluated and prepared reports for the Parole Board prior to release hearings as well as Executive Clemency Reports. Recommendations regarding suitability for release were also made. I have worked at the following facilities
